Easter at Murray Lakes, Near Mandurah
Easter with the family at Murray Lakes Resort included lots of tennis, table tennis, lawn bowls, squash and then a paddle up the Murray River to the Ravenswood Hotel for the Sunday sess. Paddling home after a few beers was a bit tricky, but at least there are no random breath testing stations on the river!

June, 2005 - Back to Bali
Dad celebrated his 60th birthday in Bali and all the family (Matt, Claude, Sean, myself and mum and dad) went and some friends (Wardles, Sykes, Judy, Prendi). It was the first time I'd been back to Bali in 17 years, and Sean's first time ever. We had the actual party at Coffee and Silver Restaurant in Ubud. It was a wig or hat theme. The food was fantastic and their were some guys playing guitar and bongo drums for some tunes.
Sean getting a massage, Artini 3 cottages in Ubud, carrying scuba diving gear across the rocky beach in Tulumben
Rice paddys on the way to Sidemen, Hotel in Sidemen, procession along the road.
Poor Sean didn't get to stay for the 60th celebrations as he had an exam to sit for his MBA studies, so only had 5 nights in Tuban/Kuta and then had to jet home. Everyone else headed to Ubud, where we had spa treatments for so cheap, went to cooking school, shopped like mad at the markets and ate and drank. After that a few of us went to Amed on the Eastern side of the island for some R&R. I went diving in Tulumben on an old wreck which was good. Then back to the Kuta area for my last night and home.
It was a rushed trip, but we'll go again no doubt.
